About Us

Dr. Vijayasudha Gunna received her Medical Degree from Gulbarga University in India. After completing her Medical school she worked as a Primary care Provider before coming to Atlanta, Georgia. She went to Augusta, Georgia as part of a NIH sponsered Research Project. Later she started her Residency Program in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. She was offered a Fellowship in Endocrinology and completed her training in 2006. After her Residency and Fellowship training Dr.Gunna moved back to Atlanta where she always wanted to be. Before staring Endocrinology and Diabetes of Georgia, PC she was in a group practice in Roswell for almost 6 years. Her special interests are Thyroid disorders/Thyroid nodules and the challenges in managing Diabetes. Dr.Gunna enjoys reading,travelling and spending time with her family.She resides in Alpharetta, Georgia with her husband and two sons. Dr. Gunna is board certified in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism. Dr. Gunna is a member of the American College of Clinical Endocrinologists and the Endocrine Society. She is on staff at North Fulton Hospital, Northside Hospital and Emory Johns Creek Hospital.
